Island Garden City of Samal is known for the pristine white sand beaches, rich marine life and diverse tourist spots. This precious island is not only blessed with crystal clear seas but also with a breath-taking view of Hagimit Falls in Penaplata. The falls is located two kilometers way from the Penaplata proper and is accessible by a car, a jeep or you can also have the option to take the habal-habal. Entrance fee is P20.00 intended for the developmennt of the place. The first timer guests consider the place very close to nature another way of saying perfectly breath-taking.
At sight, you may see that Hagimit Falls is just small but has amazing rock formations and natural pools wherein people enjoy bathing. It is perfect for those who want relaxation through taking a dip in a pool of fresh flowing water. The water is quite cold yet very refreshing especially during hot sunny days. It is also a good site for camping since there are some campsites you can avail.
On my first trip to Hagimit Falls is not that good for the water that flows seems to be covered with mud since it rained the night before thus not good for swimming so we have to switch to another resort. It would be totally convenient if you visit this place on a hot sunny day.
Though this place isn't fully developed yet, the rich forest, the plants and all the green stuff will soothe all the worries and stress away. It would be a lot worthwhile to spend a day here.
